Lareau Farm Inn

Search Waitsfield Vermont

This carefully restored, 1832 Vermont Greek Revival farmhouse rests in an open meadow beside the Mad River. The inn offers full country breakfasts, rooms furnished with antiques and handmade quilts, and innkeeper Susan Easley's warm hospitality.

In every season, Lareau Farm promises guests an enjoyable and memorable visit. The inn boasts a sunny dining room and wide, columned porches that look out onto an unspoiled meadow and a soaring rock face. Breakfast is served often on the porch. The Mad River flows by in front of the house and separates it from Route 100.

A huge, circa 1900 red barn and surrounding fields provide the facility with a rural backdrop, but it is only minutes from the towns of Warren and Waitsfield.

Lareau Farm also is home to American Flatbread. Small family and corporate groups are welcome. The inn also specializes in country weddings.
