Waitsfield is located in
Washington County, 13 miles south of
Waterbury in the Mad River Valley along Highway 100. The surrounding valley includes
Warren and
Fayston, as well as a premier ski area. There is also a unique covered bridge spanning the Map River, which dates back to the 1830s. The bridge was restored in 1975.
