From sea level to 1,940 feet elevation, the park occupies most of the westward side of Chuckanut Mountain. The park, located 7 miles south of Bellingham on Samish Bay, features, picnicking, boating, fishing, clamming, hiking, camping, water skiing, crabbing, beachcombing, and scuba diving.
