The Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) is a great place to view a wide array of contemporary and traditional art created by Midwest artists.

The CVA is part of ArtsBlock, located in historic downtown Wausau. ArtsBlock, now completed, is the union of the performing and the visual arts through an immense building project that combined three historic buildings to create new gallery and gathering spaces for the organizations.

In the fall of 2003 the Center for the Visual Arts opened its new exhibition gallery and it is a stunning showplace for art. The CVA hosts ever-changing exhibits of juried art work produced in a variety of media and techniques.

The CVA gallery shop is the perfect place to find original gifts that will reflect your great taste. Express yourself! Take a class at the CVA and feel the exhilaration of creating your own art.

The CVA is accessible to visitors with disabilities.
