Daniel Vineyards

Located 3 miles south of Beckley in the rolling hills of southern West Virginia, Daniel Vineyards offers a complete line of West Virginia wines from French Hybrid, Swenson Hybrid, and American Varietal grapes. Dr. Daniel, the owner began his dream by planting 86 varieties of grapes, each one chosen for its potential to make great wine, on more than 10,000 vines. Daniel's varieties of white grapes include Cayuga, Vidal, Chardonel, Seyval, St. Pepin, Vignoles, Traminette, Bianca, and Aurore. The red grapes include Norton, Baco Noir, St. Vincent, St. Croix, Marechal Foch, Leon Millot, Frontenac and Kozma. The facilities include a tasting room, a large deck and a 3,000-square-foot covered pavilion, suitable for hosting dozens of people, and a beautiful, large gazebo with a wonderful view of the vine-covered slopes and blueberry patch.
