Nestled in the wooded mountains of Hardy County, the park encompasses 3,712 acres with a vast array of recreational facilities including hiking to "Cranny Crow" with its commanding 3,200-ft views of the surrounding ridges. Several miles of hiking trails lead to hours of exercise and nature study of the abundance of flora and fauna. Other facilities: park pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, archery range, badminton, horseshoes.
