Old West Museum |
The Old West Museum preserves, promotes and perpetuates the history and meaning of the Cheyenne Frontier Days celebration and the history, values and culture of the American West. Museum conserves and exhibits collections pertaining to the history and material culture of the city of Cheyenne, Laramie County, and the state of Wyoming. It has a research library that encompasses over 500 titles on rodeo, carriages and the history of the west. The archives include a substantial collection of postcards and photographs of the rodeo and Laramie County dating from the late 1800s.
