Saratoga Lake

Search Saratoga Wyoming

Saratoga Lake is a favorite spot for fishing, boating, water skiing, and wind surfing. Just a mile and a half and a few minutes north of town off WYO 130/230, the lake is noted for a year-round fishing excellence. A boat dock makes loading and unloading a piece of cake. Also, the lake campground provides water and electrical hook-ups for a fee and is operated by the Town of Saratoga.

It is about 1 1/2 miles long at best and is a shallow lake, averaging 6 to 10 feet deep. This lake is strictly a rainbow, cutthroat, and brown trout fishery.

Note: The states of Wisconsin and New York also have lakes with the same name. Those lakes are noted for their bass fishing.
