Campbell County

Campbell County is located in the northern region of the state of Wyoming adjacent to Weston County, Crook County, Converse County, Johnson County and Sheridan County. The SE and a section of the NE corner of the county is part of the Thunder Basin National Grassland, which spans at least five counties. Gillette is the largest town in Campbell County.

The county seat of Campbell County, Wyoming, is Gillette. The county population on July 1, 1999, was 32,727, an increase of 3,357 over the 1990 census.
