Campbell County is located in the northern region of the state of Wyoming adjacent to
Weston County,
Crook County,
Converse County,
Johnson County and
Sheridan County. The SE and a section of the NE corner of the county is part of the
Thunder Basin National Grassland, which spans at least five counties.
Gillette is the largest town in Campbell County.
