Channel Lake

Along with Lake Catherine, Channel Lake is the northernmost lake in the NE Illinois' Chain O' Lakes system.

The 350-acre lake is about 40 feet deep and contains nearly 15 species of fish, the most abundant of which are Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Pumpkinseed.

Other lakes in the Chain include Bluff Lake, Fox Lake, Nippersink Lake, Pistakee Lake, Petite Lake, Lake Marie, Grass Lake and Redhead Lake.
