The Alaska Science Center is located on the
Alaska Pacific University campus. The center was founded in 1991 in an effort to provide a variety of programs including identifying, collecting, and developing science materials, conducting workshops, and promoting science education - especially in rural Alaska.
The resources currently at the Alaska Science Center include NASA Teacher Resources, FAA materials (vidoes, posters, curriculum, coloring books), and a science teaching library.
