Established in 1975, the Anchorage C&VB provides visitors with free information on area attractions, lodging, history, and much more. There are five visitor information centers open 7 days a week, year round. The Log Cabin VIC is in downtown Anchorage at 4th Ave & F Street. North Anchorage VIC is at 11723 Old Glenn Hwy in Eagle River. Plus there are two Visitor Information Centers at the Anchorage International Airport.
