This cultural heritage site is operated by the Kenaitze Indian Tribe, IRA, through an agreement with the Seward Ranger District of the Chugach National Forest. Located at Mile 53.7 Sterling Hwy, it is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Across from the Russian River Campground entrance, there are guided tours of archeological features and traditional plant lore. There is an evening fireside hour for legends and stories and a gift shop featuring Alaska Native cultural items.
