Mount Lehman is a small community of about 800 people in the Fraser Valley about 40 miles east of Vancouver. Downtown Mount Lehman consists of the post office, library, fire hall and credit union. It is a rural farming community with dairy and chicken farms with small farms raising different crops. It may not appear on some recent maps, since Abbotsford has expanded its boundaries to include the district.

Seattle Japanese Cultural Festival Seattle WA April26-28 The festival features Japanese exhibits, performances, and demonstrations. Held at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
