Vancouver. Perched 1249 feet above sea level, Vernon receives 1,903 hours of sunshine, and only 9.75 inches of rain per year. Snowfall averages approximately 40 inches per year. The average June-September temperature is 75 degrees fahrenheit (24 C), good for spending days at one of Vernon's many beaches. From October to May, temperatures average 28 degrees (-2 C), allowing for great skiing and ice skating at the outdoor rink.
