When Mr. Pinkerton died in 1993 (Mr, Whitney preceased him), he left the building for use as a museum. The Amador Whitney Museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The museum features changing exhibits bi-annually.
