Amador Whitney Museum

Having served a variety of functions, the Fleehart Building was purchased in 1983 by Jerrold Whitney and Clayton Pinkerton.

When Mr. Pinkerton died in 1993 (Mr, Whitney preceased him), he left the building for use as a museum.

The Amador Whitney Museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The museum features changing exhibits bi-annually. Some of these exhibits are about Western women and their contributions to the Mother Lode.

Admission to the museum is by donation.
