The San Diego Maritime Museum strives to serve the community memory of the seafaring experience by collecting, preserving, and presenting our rich maritime heritage and historic connection with the Pacific world. Three historic vessels are represented in the museum. They are the 1863 tall ship Star of India, the 289-foot 1898 ferry Berkeley, and the 1904 steam yacht Medea. Nautical and oceanographic exhibits are featured.

This museum is open daily.
