The new San Diego Hall of Champions opened in the renovated Federal Building in Balboa Park. More than a museum and archives of San Diego sports, this 70,000-square-foot facility on three levels is a dynamic activity center that encourages visitors to be participants as well as observers.

Photographs and memorabilia, along with video and audio tapes, bring to life the history of sports in San Diego. The museum is located in the famous Balboa Park of San Diego. The museum is closed on New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. There is free admission for everyone on the second Tuesday of the month.
