Dumbarton House

Located in Georgetown on Q Street, this Federal period house features examples of Federal furniture, paintings, silver and Chinese export procelain. Also displayed are children's objects from museums across the country as well as historic letters and documents signed by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James and Dolly Madison.

Open Tuesday through Saturday 10am-12:15pm in September through July; closed federal holidays and December 23 through January 2.
