The Folger Shakespeare Library

Located near the Library of Congress on Second and Capitol Streets, this library features changing exhibits of Shakespearean and Renaissance items, including rare books and manuscripts, paintings and other memorabilia in Tudor Great Hall. The library regularly presents lectures, theater programs, concerts, plays and reading of poetry and fiction.

Open Monday through Saturday 10am-4pm. Closed holidays.
