Frederick Douglass National His. Site

Located on W Street, this was the last home of the former slave, statesman and human rights activist. Many of the house's 19th century Victorian furnishings are original. The visitor center's interpretive exhibits and film document Douglass' life.

Open daily 9am-4pm; closed major holidays.
