The Etienne Terrus Museum |
The museum is dedicated to Etienne Terrus, painter and friend of Matisse. He was an uncontested master of watercolor but didn't belong to any school of painting, although his later works show a clear Fauvist influence.The ground floor is reserved for Terrus and his friends. The other two floors display works by contemporary painters who have lived and worked in Elne. There is also an annexe for temporary exhibitions.
