The Museum of Fine Arts in Valenciennes is home to prestigious collections ranging from Gallo-Roman to 20th century archaeology, plus Flemish paintings and works from some of the great sculptors of the 19th century. Works by Watteau and Carpeaux, both of them born in Valenciennes, are also featured. Closed Tuesdays.
