North Hawaii Hospice believes in supporting people's wishes to approach the end of life with a greater sense of empowerment, comfort, and peace. It is a part of an Emergency Bereavement Team that assists visitors who experience a loss or death while on the Island of Hawaii.

Annual Maui Steel Guitar Festival Maui HI April19-21 Featured performers will also conduct on-site school visits to various Maui schools to educate and and inform Maui's youth about the Hawaiian steel guitar. These visits, targeted specifically for students of these schools, includes both educational sessions and entertainment by the visiting performers.

Merrie Monarch Festival Hilo HI June7-9 Merrie Monarch Festival is a week-long cultural event held annually in Hilo on the island of Hawaii. Festivities start on Easter Sunday and culminate with the Hula competition events at the Edith Kanaka'ole Tennis Stadium - Miss Aloha Hula on Thursday, Hula Kahiko on Friday, and Hula 'Auana on Saturday.
