Interstate 84 continues its gradual southeastward journey from Portland, Oregon, as it crosses Idaho. Already combined with
Highway 30 when it reaches the Idaho border near
Fruitland, the highway joins with two more east-west routes,
Highway 20 and
Highway 26 at Boise and all four coincide until
Mountain Home. At this point,
Highway 20 splits off to the northeast. At
Gooding,
Highway 26 does the same and finally, a little beyond
Burley and
Heyburn,
Highway 30 separates as Interstate 84 turns southeast toward Salt Lake City UT.
