Chandlerville is located in west central Illinois in Cass County northwest of Springfield between Virginia and Havana along Highway 78 on the banks of the Sangamon River.Panther Creek SFWA and Site M SFWA to the south of town merged in 2001 becoming the Jim Edgar Panther Creek SFWA. The merger brings the total acreage under management to about 16,550. In-season hunting for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, ring-necked pheasant and mourning dove is encouraged.
