Polo

Polo is located in northwestern Illinois in southwestern Ogle County about 10 miles northwest of Dixon and about 15 miles west-southwest of Oregon, the county seat. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,471, a decrease of 43 since 1990.

Outdoor recreation spots are plentiful and within easy driving distance. White Pines Forest State Park, Castle Rock State Park, Lowden-Miller State Forest/Lowden State Park and the Rock River are all within 15 miles to the east.
