Barren River Lake park is located on 2,187 forested acres next to the 10,000-acre Barren River Lake. Facilities include a hotel, cottages and 99-site seasonal campground. Three trails located throughout the forest offer easy-to-moderate hikes. Anglers cast for largemouth, smallmouth and hybrid striped bass in the lake, and 30 more miles of fishing and boating waters can be found in the Green and Nolin rivers. The park is located 44 miles southeast of Bowling Green.
