The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Visitor Center offers many unique programs for visitors that include tours, special events and presentations highlighting Goddard's contributions to America's Space Program. Visitors have the opportunity to hear world-renowned lecturers, see exciting model rocket launches, and participate in one of our special children's programs. Unreserved public tours are offered twice daily for individuals and groups of 15 or less, a choice of walking tours or van tours are available. The 2 1/2-tour includes the NASA Communications Center, the Hubble Space Telescope Operations Control Center and other operations; tours are filled on a first-come, first-served basis; not suitable for children under 10 years old. No tours given on Tuesday and Thursday. The Visitor Center is free of charge, with picnic tables and free parking; open daily, closed major holidays.
