Popham Beach State Park is a spacious sand beach reached by taking Maine Route 209 fourteen miles from Bath to Phippsburg and following signs to the park. Facilities include bathhouses, freshwater rinse-off showers, and charcoal grills. Fort Popham is two miles further south on Route 209. The park covers 529 acres.
