Augusta State Park/Capital Park

Located between the Statehouse and the Kennebec River. This State Park contains 72 species of native trees and 23 species of exotic trees as well as varieties of shrubs and ferns. The park is also the site of Maine Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The memorial is a unique triangular piece of art.

Open Daily, 24 hours a day. No admission fee.
