Sabbathday Lake Shaker Museum |
This cooperative community is said to be the last active Shaker village. Dating from 1782, most of the buildings reflect the styles of 18th- and early 19th century. The museum located here houses Shaker furniture, handicrafts, ingenious inventions, and workshops.
Extended tours are available in July and August.
