Visitors can spot the rare Venus flytrap and other species of insect-eating plants in this 700 acre park. This park features a variety of habitats along intriguing trails that allows hikers to stop and identify more than 30 species of coastal trees, shrubs and flowering plants. The marina will enhance visitors enjoyment of the Cape Fear River and adjoining waterway where excellent fishing and boating await the sports enthusiast. Special points of interest include Sugarloaf Dune, Cypress Pond, Lily Pond, and Grass Pond.
