Edmore is located in northeastern North Dakota in
Ramsey County 30 miles northeast of
Devils Lake along Highway 17.
Other than Devils Lake, outdoor lovers can choose activities around some smaller lakes such as Sweet Water Lake, Dry Lake, Chain Lake, Lake Alice and Lake Irvine all 25-30 miles southwest of town. Lake Alice is home to the Lake Alice National Wildlife Refuge, a haven for a large variety of waterfowl and other wildlife.
