Sentinel Butte

Sentinel Butte is located in West Region in Golden Valley County (of which it is the county seat) in the heart of the Little Missouri National Grassland area along I-94 about 60 miles west of Dickinson.

Nearby recreational pursuits include trips to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park (south unit) 15 miles to the east and Sully's Creek State Park about 5 miles south of that. For history buffs, the De Mores Historic Site is located just southwest of Medora in the same general area.
