Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital |
Located in the northern tip of New Hampshire, in Coos County, is a rural 16 bed not-for-profit critical access hospital (CAH) called the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital Dartmouth-Hitchcock (UCVH D-H). The name refers to the headwaters of the Connecticut River that is part of the 850 square-mile service area of the hospital, which includes 20 towns and 8,500 people in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
This hospital, though small, is confident in its mission to improve the health status of the community it serves through the provision of high quality services. In providing the following continuum of services, UCVH sees itself as a primary health care resource center for the northern tri-state area. They are partners with Dartmouth Medical School.
