Andover, named for Andover Mine, a part of land once owned by the heirs of William Penn, is a borough in
Sussex County north of
Stanhope, in the
Skylands Region, along Highway 206 near Lake Mohawk. Andover is part of the
Newark, New Jersey metro area.
Within 20 miles of Andover is Morristown National Historic Park, Waterloo Village, Four Sisters Winery, and Drew University.
