Dewey

Dewey is located in northeast Oklahoma in Washington County northeast of Bartlesville along Highway 75 near the Kansas border south of Lake Hulah and Copan Lake.

The town is home to the Tom Mix Museum, a tribute to the cowboy movie idol of the early 1930's. Memorabilia from the first western movie, "King of the Cowboys", can be viewed here. Other attractions include the Dewey Hotel Museum and Prairie Song, I.T..

Recreation sites include Wah-Sha-She State Park to the northwest and Osage Hills State Park to the west. Nearby lakes include Birch Lake to the south, Bluestem Lake to the west and Lake Oologah to the southeast.
