Sardis Lake is located in souteastern Oklahoma primarily in
Pushmataha County about 3 miles north of
Clayton on SR 2. The northern reaches of the lake extend into
Latimer County.
The 14,000-acre lake has 117 miles of shoreline and is situated between the Kiamichi and Jack Fork mountains about 15 miles west of the Ouachita National Forest. The lake yields record size bass and is also noted for excellent crappie fishing.
