Highway 99E

Between Portland and Junction City, old Highway 99 ran along two parallel courses. Highway 99E still exists in many places. Designated McLoughlin Blvd on the south side of Portland, the highway runs through Milwaukie, Gladstone and Oregon City. South of Oregon City, it holds close to the east bank of the Willamette River almost to Canby. It passes through Canby and Aurora and skirts Woodburn, joining Interstate 5 north of Salem. It breaks away from Interstate 5 again at Albany and continues south through Halsey and Harrisburg before meeting Highway 99W at Junction City.
