Umatilla County

Umatilla County in northeastern Oregon is 3,231 square miles and has a population of over 64,000. The county seat is Pendleton on Interstate 84; other major communities include Hermiston and Milton-Freewater. Many reminders of the old Oregon Trail, which crossed the county, remain today.
