First Baptist Church, Cayce |
The first Secession Convention was held here in December 1860, a year after the church was built. The business of secession moved then to Charleston. The pulpit furnishings, slave gallery and brick-pillared portico are as they were then. Visitors are welcome weekdays and for the weekly Sunday services.
