With its original 9 holes dating back to 1903, the Cooke Municipal Golf Course has weathered the years extremely well, and is still considered one of the top golf courses in the province. Highly regarded for its challenge, it has been the site of both the Canadian Ladies and Canadian Junior Championships. The course is named after Hubert Cooke, who was responsible for designing the back 9 in 1935. It has undulating fairways with some water and plenty of trees in play.
