The park stands on under an acre of land in downtown San Antonio. The original house complex was the residence of Texas hero Jose Antonio Navarro and consists of three limestone, caliche block and adobe structures built around 1848.

Located across from the Police Department headquarters, the park provides guided, conversational tours. Admission is charged.
