Confederate Reunion Grounds State Park |
The Confederate Reunion Grounds State Historical Park in Limestone County is where veterans of the confederacy from Limestone and Freestone counties assembled in an encampment in 1889. Encampments continued for the next 57 years. In 1983, the site was donated to Texas State Parks.
