Search Tazewell Virginia

The Museum is named for the archaeological site on which it sits. Here, humans have lived hundreds of years. These first settlers arrived after crossing the continent from their Asian homelands. By the late 1600s, late Woodland period inhabitants were the last to have settlements here. The Museum tells a story of continuing change in this region from before the time of human settlement to the present era.
