Fairy Stone State Park is home of the mysterious "fairy stones." It is one of the six original Virginia state parks to open on June 15, 1936.
Park attractions include climate controlled cabins, campgrounds, group camping, hiking trails, beach swimming, row boats, canoes, paddle boats, hydro-bikes, picnicking, and two new playgrounds, including one in the water.
