Water conditions permitting, both a 12-mile and 20-mile scenic float trip depart from Fort Jackson. A meal is provided. Fishing trips are also available. The trips operate from March through September. The Snake River offers much in terms of a tranquil float trip. Spectacular, panoramic views of the Grand Teton National Park are amazing from the view from the river. Wildlife and birds abound, making a float trip ideal for observing wildlife. Reservations are recommended.
