The Chacula Trail is popular with horseback riders. It consists of multiple loops encompassing 6.5 miles of level path. The trail received its name from a small freshwater pond just outside the Preserve boundary. Common sites include white-tail deer, wild-turkey, bobcat, woodpecker and bald eagle. The trail does permit foot traffic and mountain bikers.
