Search Tallahassee Florida

The Eco Pond Trail is a very short 0.5-mile loop walk. It is located across from the Flamingo Visitor Center on Main Park Road. The freshwater pond is a great attraction to a wide variety of wading birds, songbirds, and other wildlife. Alligators often cruise the pond. A good time to stroll along this path is sunrise and sunset. There is also a wheelchair-accessible viewing platform at the beginning of the trail that also affords good sights of wildlife.
